I am currently the Chief Technical Officer at ICANN, The Internet Corporation
for Assigned Names and Numbers (http://www.icann.org).
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is an
internationally organized, non-profit corporation that has responsibility
for Internet Protocol (IP) address space allocation, protocol identifier
assignment, generic (gTLD) and country code (ccTLD) Top-Level Domain name
system management, and root server system management functions.
Prior to my time at ICANN, I worked as part of the executive management
team at the RIPE NCC in Amsterdam (http://www.ripe.net).
The RIPE NCC is the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) that provides Internet
resource allocations for Europe and surrounding areas.
I have been directly involved in the administration of Internet Identifiers
since my start at the RIPE NCC in 1995 and have worked in all areas of
IP address administration.
I also have extensive experience in the area of DNS administration and
managing Internet infrastructure services. Currently I am responsible
for the management of l.root-servers.net, one of the Internets 13
Root Servers (http://www.root-servers.org)
Before becoming involved in Internet Administration I worked as a Design
Engineer in composite materials research and development. In that role
I was also responsible for local area networking off Computer Aided Design
Systems and for writing and developing custom software applications.

John M. R. Kneuer

National Telecommunications and Information Administration
John M. R. Kneuer joined the National Telecommunications and Information
Administration (NTIA) in October 2003 as Counselor to the Assistant Secretary.
Mr. Kneuer's previous experience includes providing regulatory and legislative
representation to corporate clients in telecom, defense, and transportation
industries. Prior to joining NTIA, Mr. Kneuer served as a senior associate
at the law firm of Piper Rudnick in Washington, D.C.
Prior to that, Mr. Kneuer was executive director for government relations
at the Industrial Telecommunications Association (ITA) and an attorney-advisor
in the commercial wireless division of the FCC's wireless bureau. He received
B.A. and J.D. degrees from the Catholic University of America. He is a
member of the District of Columbia and New Jersey state bar.

Theodore C. Tanner Jr.
Ted Tanner is an Architectural Strategist for the Microsoft Windows Strategic
Relations and Policy Group. In this role he directs many aspects of Technical
Public Policy for the Microsoft Corporation.
Ted Tanner is part of the team which deals with technical policy. He is
the Microsoft Corporation representative to the National Security Telecommunications
Advisory Committee (NSTAC) Research and Development Taskforce and is a
member of the Audio Engineering Society and IEEE.
He joined Microsoft in 2000 when Microsoft purchased MongoMusic where
Ted was a Vice President. At MongoMusic he directed all aspects of machine
listening, signal processing research, intellectual property management
and venture capital assessment. He has also worked at Apple Computer Inc.
where he worked on future media processing architectures for OS9 and OSX,
and at Spatializer Audio Laboratories, Crystal River Engineering and digidesign
inc.
Ted has published numerous articles in leading technical magazines. He
has applied for several patents in the area of audio and media technologies.
He holds a Master of Science in Music Engineering from the University
of Miami and has taken post graduate courses at various Universities including
Stanford, Berkeley and UC Davis.

Alexander Ramia
Senior Group Manager
Panasonic Communications Liaison Office of America
Mr. Ramia is the Senior Group Manager for Panasonic Communications Liaison
Office of America, whose primary charter is create business relationships
within the telecommunications world and its secondary charter is to research
new revenue generating business processes that redefine the traditional
"box sales" program. The Liaison office is a direct channel
to the factory communications arm of Panasonic.
Mr. Ramia is also representing Panasonics IPv6 consumer camera program
and developing cutting edge consumer v6 applications and services. Mr.
Ramia has over 20 years experience in the telecom world where he served
in many divisions that included switching, private line, and outside plant.
