to the popular course, Building IPv6 Networks, the completion of a major
IPv6 training program for Cisco Systems, the IPv6 Accelerate Program,
and the availability of a new Native6 course, IPv6 for Programmers. A

Building IPv6 Networks
Over the course of 2003 and 2004, Native6 IPv6 experts delivered the Building
IPv6 Networks course to several U.S. Department of Defense agencies including
the Joint Interoperability Testing Command (JITC), the Army’s Electronic
Proving Ground (EPG), the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command
(SMDC), the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Command (MCNOSC)
and the Navy IPv6 Project Office, Office of the Chief Engineer, Space
and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). In addition, U.S. Army, Air
Force, Navy and Marine personnel and contractors have participated in
the Native6 Building IPv6 Networks Course.
With an exclusive focus on IPv6, Native6 courses cover a broad range of
subject matter at a level of depth and understanding unparalleled in the
IPv6 education market. The five-day Building IPv6 Networks course has
been completely updated and now provides participants with an even more
comprehensive overview of the IPv6 protocol, and how it is being supported
within the larger network infrastructure. It offers high-end, hands-on
IPv6 Instructor Led Training accompanied by extensive lab work. The course
is specifically designed for network engineers, systems engineers and
architects who are responsible for integrating IPv6 into products, services

IPv6 Training Materials Development
Native6 was selected as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to create internal
training materials for Cisco’s IPv6 Accelerate Program. The Instructor
Led Training and e-learning courses are used by Cisco to develop wide
spread IPv6 expertise within the company’s world wide sales force.
This expertise, in turn, helps the sales force educate customers on Cisco’s
IPv6 products and services.
IPv6 for Programmers
As a very broad spectrum technology, IPv6 impacts almost every aspect
of the network, the devices attached to it and the applications that run
over it. As part of a continued effort to accommodate the growing knowledge
deficit that exists in many specialized areas, Native6 recently released
a course designed specifically for programmers. The IPv6 for Programmers
course benefits programmers, application developers and application architects
who are responsible for developing programs and porting existing code
to work in an IPv6 environment. Native6 IPv6 experts have delivered the
IPv6 for Programmers course to Hewlett-Packard.
